The gardens with the statue of Alan Turing. Did not realise he died after eating the poison apple. Also the spiral monument with inspirational thoughts re HIV I have one query about the "dragons" on the Rylands library. We put gargoyles and lost a point. Gargoyles were loosely based on dragons . Please can we retrieve this lost point?;-)

The hubby and I had a brilliant day. We had a lot in of fun walking round parts of Manchester that we had never seen before. The hubby organised this as a birthday gift for myself and we certainly had a blast figuring out the clues. There are quite a few stops on the way where you can visit places for a free entry (or a small donation) which makes the day even more fun. Totally recommend this experience, be sure to wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking involved!

Great fun! Definitely a good way to see lots of different parts of the city. Felt like a really safe route we went through and took us about 3.5 hours as we stopped for lunch and to look around some areas. Making a stop at the John Ryland library is a must. Not too difficult but still challenging enough for it to be fun!

A fantastic experience, wonderful way to see the city and learn some of its history. My only criticism is the maps, which weren’t very detailed, you will need Google maps or similar to find your way around.

Great way to see the city. Fun way to spread a day and learn about the city. We were lucky and it was a lovely sunny day. I added a photo that isn’t a spoiler but made me happy.
