Was quite deceived as this area is not what I would label as a touristic zone. A good place to take a rest in front of Manchester Cahthedral.

Really nice open space in front of the town hall. Plenty of statues with the main one being Prince Albert. Great early morning for pictures.

What a wonderful selection of different stalls to visit, very interesting, loved the food variety esp the huge fire for sausages being cooked, so many chocolates.... just a great time to wonder around and relax even with the light drizzle

Went on a Sunday afternoon/evening and the place was heaving - almost to the point that you couldn't actually get to the stalls. On the plus side, this meant I didn't have to hand over quadrouple the amount of money that I would've had to...More

It's free to get in. Probably get as early as you can, expected to be rather busy.
