My daughter has been riding at the stables for just over 3 years now, when she first attended I explained her anxieties and her medical history. She was paired with Beth, who has not only taught Demi how to ride well but brought her confidence out. The staff at whythenshaw stables are all professional and well mannered. Serena, Beth and Ethan have always given my girl the best opportunities to be the best she can be with all the support she needs in bettering her riding and career. We always recommend to others and will continue to do so. Thank you.

This is a MARVELLOUS riding school in my opinion, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! I have four children that have been riding at the school for about three years now.
all the staff are lovely, friendly and great with children that have additional needs.
Serena ,Ethan and Beth have helped all of my children with their confidence and progression in riding.
I have loved seeing my children go from beginners to being confident walk, trot and canter riders.
I would recommend this fantastic riding school to anyone at any level of riding

You couldn't ask for a better riding school. I have been riding with Serena, at Wythenshawe, since June. Since day one, she has coached me with a smile always on her face and giving me the best feedback possible throughout all my lessons. You can see she really cares about your progression and wants you to keep your passion for riding and horses, by the way she runs the riding school. She is always extremely accommodating and will help you with your riding in whatever way she can.
The rest of the staff at Wythenshawe are also lovely. They welcome you with friendly faces and you can really see the team pull together to make the riding school run smoothly and efficiently.
Not forgetting the wonderful horses!! All the horses are gorgeous to ride and I love that when you have a favourite, they are more than happy to try and let you ride him/her as much as possible in the lessons.
Don't look anywhere else for your riding school. If you are starting as a beginner or experienced rider, they will make sure to suit your needs and help you reach your goals. I highly recommend this riding school to anyone and everyone of all levels, sizes and ages!
I couldn't thank them enough for all they have done for me! I love this riding school.

My daughter had months of lessons here, we attempted to call them to cancel a lesson, they never answered the phone. We attempted to call again at the next lesson again no answer despite several attempts.. we turned up at the lesson to be turned away “as we hadn’t called”
The manager is the most miserable manager I have ever come across in my life. She’s not friendly with the children at all. My daughter had a lesson where the horse was dragged around the arena. I informed her of this and her attitude was awful. I would not recommend this riding school to anyone.

I am sad to say we will not be returning after today. Five weeks ago we started attending the stables with my 5 year old daughter and booked two consecutive weeks of ride outs, with Ethan who was lovely, very friendly. We followed this with booking a months worth of lessons (accompanied by one other child) each Sunday, of which today was the third lesson. Each week my daughter has been with Ellie who was a fantastic teacher, very patient. This week we arrived and were abruptly greeted by another female teacher with red hair who was extremely unfriendly and unable to raise a smile the whole time. She is clearly unhappy in her role and unsuited to a role requiring people skills. Following the lesson, when we went in the office to pay, I asked to continue the booking of lessons throughout October, since we only have one week left of this month. I was advised that this particular teacher would be teaching the lessons going forward, which was less than appealing, however my little girl loves it, so I would have continued to take her. However I was then advised by this particular teacher that we could no longer be accommodated on Sundays, Saturdays or weekday evenings going forward, as she has regulars who are booked in our usual slot, and we were then told that her regulars had been on holiday throughout September and that was the only reason we had been accommodated to date. This was the first I had been informed this. I am slightly annoyed that they allowed me to book in for so many lessons, take my money and let my little girl get used to attending and used to the teacher, to now be told we can’t be accommodated anymore going forward and that basically we had just filled a gap for them. I am fully aware of how difficult it must be adapting to Covid and that they are limited to smaller numbers, but if they had slightly better organisational skills and had communicated this from day one this could have been avoided. The stables has great potential with the exception of one staff member letting the place down.

Hi Emma, I am so sorry you did not have a good experience with us, I strive to make our stables the best it can be. I have spoken to The member of staff you have mentioned who was very upset at the news of unhappy customer and she felt that she has answered all your concerns before you left , obviously this was not the case.
During the Time of Covid we have had to lower our number of available spaces for lessons and it appears that you may have felt the effect of this. I hope in the future We will not be restricted in numbers. We are doing what We can in the current climate
If you can think of anyway I can try to redeem the situation or wish to discuss this matter Further please do not hesitate to contact me at Info@wythenshaweparkridingstables.co.uk

My daughter had been really looking forward to riding for the first time, however she suffers from severe anxiety and when we arrived she was quite nervous. She was called to her horse and she began to get quite nervous. She was rushed to get on by a red head woman who had complete disregard for how she was feeling she told her ‘you need to get on now because you’re holding up the lesson, if you don’t you won’t be able to ride’ despite my explanation of her anxiety I still felt upset at the way she was treated. However two of the guides who I believe were called Lacie and Charley were very kind and understanding to my daughter and took their time and patience to calm her down and get her to get her on the horse. Needless to say she adored her lesson and at the end the brunette guide let her feed the horse a carrot and stroke it. This really stuck with her and built up her confidence. Apart from the incompetence of some of the staff, the others really make up for it and are a credit to the riding stables.

Booked the ride around the park for my 2 girls (7 and 10). My youngest was very nervous when getting on and the staff were great at putting her at ease. They both loved it, highly recommend, good value too. We will be going again.

I have ridden at Wythenshawe Park for a few years now and would 100% recommend these stables to anyone. My riding ability and confidence has improved so much through the brilliant teaching, and my Mum and I love to hack out in the fields and woodlands in the park. The horses are much loved and so well cared for by everyone at the yard, with a special thanks going to Beth and Ethan for always going the extra mile to make our ride safe and enjoyable

Would highly HIGHLY recommend wythenshawe park riding stables. Took my two children and they absolutely loved the riding and will be returning again. The horses are beautiful and well looked after by staff. Ethan was amazing with my kids helping them with anything they needed and given them reassurance whilst riding, He really does go above and beyond not only for clients but the horses to. Top guy!! Beth was well organised and had all stuff ready for my kids to ride friendly and approachable and sue was so helpful, making sure we were all ok. This stables is the best we have been to and we will not be going anywhere else. Myself and my kids LOVED it.
