Great venue. Handy for the city centre. Good play as per Peter James's usual standard. Only complaint was that it was far too hot and I was struggling to stay awake.

An old type theatre. This was a farce - so the performance was as you would expect. The acting was fine - better in the second half in my opinion and certainly enjoyed by the audience. What a shame that that the audience was small....More

Due to air conditioning being faulty, we suffered the first half of a show in a hot, stuffy, airless auditorium.

If you're looking for a steakhouse Hawksmoor and Gaucho are both five minutes up Deansgate from the Opera House. They are both a bit pricey but fantastic steaks. My favourite is Gaucho.

How is the view from the seats U in the stalls? Is it like the Lowry in which wherever you sit you will always have a good view? Thanks.
