I really don't understand the comments. Booked a couple's massage, we were lying down facing the opposite room walls, so feets to each other and far away, felt like I'm in the room alone. What's the point of couple's massage? It was cold, smell of damp they tried to kill with oils, the towel that was on me was wet (I guess because of the basement damp air). The massage itself was painful so there was no way to relax. I know thai massage is hard, but this was way too much. On top of cold room with freezing floor where people walk barefoot they added eucaluptus oil which made me almost shake from cold. People said about tea. What tea? We got a bootles of water at the end and walked out in rainy cold weather shaking from cold caused by eucalyptus oil and cold room. I wanted romantic massage for couples where we hold each others hands or look at each other, relax like almost falling asleep and warming up thai tea but we received a horrible experience. We had to go fir a tea afterwards to feel cared and warm up. It just just ruined our special day.. wasted money. thanks.. Will go elsewhere.

Highly recommend this place. I went with my partner for a couples massage. Ari and Jane were so friendly and welcoming. It is a nice place to be and very good massage. Left feeling very relaxed and will definitely be returning.

Don't be taken in by the glossy website imagary. Although the Thai masseuses are nice and professional, the basement building has a rather seedy appearance (I was reluctant to enter) and the 'manager' is a rather unpleasant man who insists on payment in CASH only and BEFORE the treatment. I never pay for a meal before I have eaten it, and take the same view of spa services. Why cash only I wonder?

I booked to have a couples massage at Zen and paid £75 through paypal. The day after I needed to cancel the booking so I called and was told only the manager could do the refund, but the manager is hardly ever in as he goes to the head office! I asked for a number to contact the manager but they just said to email and he will respond. I sent about 5 emails before i got a reply, and i only got a reply when i threatened to go and sit in the shop and wait for the manager or until the refund is done. Then they replied to that within 30 mins and said it would be done 'tomorrow', which i then replied saying i would rather this today as Paypal were taking it further 'tomorrow', so they managed to process the refund right away and replied to my email with 'Refunded! Enjoy' - I actually cant believe they have such bad customer service. I was going to re book with them when i could get a more convenient date but now i will just go somewhere else and spread the word about this place! Do not book unless you can 100% guarantee you can make it as you will wait ages for a refund or even a response! As for a massage experience it could possibly be amazing but i will never know as i wouldn't pay somewhere that can't apply basic customer service skills!

My previous visits here have been amazing. But I found my last visit extremely poor. Now I have got familier with the staff. But one lady there the manager did my massage I had an agreement with the boss to pay a set amount. Whilst in for the massage she spent more time talking then relaxing me. She left the room several times and finished earlier then what we had agreed. She never even bothers making up the time. The music was terrible and to Finnish it off the agreement about payment had been thrown out the window. It was rather embarrassing because I had brought what we had agreed yet I had to go to cash point to get out more. That was my last visit considering I went monthly and spent more then three hours at a time, you think they would be more better at treating regular customers but I was saddened and haven't returned since.

It was my first time in Zen Thai Spa. I came there with awful back and headache. My therapist concentrated on problematic areas. After 50 minutes, I did not feel any pain anymore.
I would like to say big thank you to my therapist. I will come back again soon.

I love Thai massages and I must say honestly this is the most exhilarating massage I have ever had. I would highly recommend and have already booked my next visit. I would love to say thank you to all the staff, they treated us like superstars and the food was great! I came out of there felling a milliion dollars!!
