Great venue for a gig. Nowadays it’s probably what they call ‘a wonderful space’. I sat upstairs in the Accessibility area with my friend, as her carer. I was impressed with all of the Accessibility team who treated everyone in a very caring but friendly manner. They take and deliver drinks orders too, which for those with accessibility issues is a dream come true. They are all excellent representatives for the venue. The only quibble I have is with the people who set the drinks prices. £6 for a pint of beer and £8 for a double JD seems rather steep to me.

We have just seen the goo goo dolls here. it is a great music venue and great location, shame about the rain when standing out side. Only issue was there was no signs to say where the box office was located

Watched goo goo dolls here tonight. Very old fashioned venue, got confused coming out of toilets, dread to think if there was an emergency will never visit again regardless of the band. We were too squashed standing, never experienced anything like it! And we've seen a lot of bands!! The band sounded much better in Manchester academy 1 a few years ago. Gutted.

Hi there, we very sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit to the Hall! Due to us being a very old but beautiful listed building we do have some restrictions, one of them being the location of the toilets. During a sold out event it can feel busy at times, but please rest assured we never exceed our capacity restrictions, the venue has also undergone a number of checks to ensure that we adhere to all fire and safety regulations especially concerning capacity. If you would like to discuss this further or any other concerns or feedback please drop us and email to info@alberthallmanchester.com and a venue manager will be happy to discuss further. Thanks, Ellie AH

Fantastic venue very professionally run. It’s got the vibe a club but it’s the size of a small live arena. Highly recommended

Have seen many gigs at this venue and it has to be my favourite in Manchester. Just seen The Courteeners there tonight and the atmosphere was amazing. The venue itself is beautiful and the fact you have seating on the upper level is an added benefit. Get there early if you want a seat as these are unreserved. The stage is much higher up than at most venues which means you get a much better view. There are two bars, one down each side and they serve a good variety of drinks. They are a bit pricey, but better value than at the O2 venues.
