It was well worth the wait to get in . The place is huge, and the Gothic influence dominant. The main attraction, a celestial clock, was under renovation, but still very interesting. I was disappointed to learn that it was not the original version.

I loved the way that cathedral looked, but the timing of its visit is very weird, and once it opens, the line is so long that it discourages you, esp in the cold with children.

the most finest gothic cathedral you can imagine, surrounded by a pittoresque medivial city with half-timbered houses and cobble stone streets.

We were on the Viking Kara and it was part of the included walking tour. We took bus back to ship so I do not believe it would be walkable.
