We saw this building whilst on a guided tour of the city. It was nice to see (in a strange way) the European Parliament. Our guide told us that it is possible to visit inside but tours must be booked in advance.

Of course, the building is quite big and impressive, if you like this kind of architecture. But apart from that, there is nothing to do or see and it is quite a way to get there. Plus, you cannot enter it as an individual, only groups are allowed and that only with a long planning ahead. Really sad to see... More

nothing to see. We took the boat tour and went past this building. While impressive, I'm in Europe to see historical ancient sights, not brand new buildings...

Having once seen the inside of the impressive and must have seen building with round about 10.000 visitors during the open day of the European Parliament, most people forget to walk around the building and catch touching photos such as animals and couples in love, hunger strikers, political refugees or demonstrators for human rights etc.

A modern form of architecture that house the political figures of this city. An ordinary place to see if you came from a place like New York that full of new modern buildings. Not so much to tell about this.

For me an outside view of this place was enough and I covered it in my town river boat tour. If you are interested in buildings and have tons of time to spare then you could venture in for a tour.

Nice to see, but for sure not a must, unless it's for your self-esteem to have visited the palace of the European Council. The palace is outside of the city. Approx. 3km from the centre of Strasbourg.

had a group tour here and was actually not looking forward to it because I thought it would be boring. Turned out to be quite interesting - thanks mostly to the fact that we had an amazing delegate give us a fascinating presentation - without that arranged in advance it would indeed have been boring, but the stories he told... I think everyone who comes to Strasbourg should see it at least from the outside. Inside I would not say it is really special but the tour is free so i you have the will and the time why not.
