This little museum is actually an old home, with at least 3 levels, built around a central courtyard. It is packed with well-displayed articles of everyday life in the past 5-6 hundred years, including typical home interiors, heating, furnishings, clothing, specialty items, cooking, horse &...More

Just a genuinely nice walk through different areas of Alsatian history, all set out very well and in a lovely building. Wide range of artefacts that demonstrated the development of Alsatian life interestingly.

Behind the entrance is a wonderful linkage of original houses, that are worth exploring even if you are not particularly interested in the rural history of the Alsace. The insight into the once numerous communities of Jewish people in this region was particularly poignant .

Cute museum filled with interesting artefacts. Good audio guide. It is easy to feel lost or confused where to go next. I found the history of the traditional costumes particularly interesting.

Musee Alsacien is not big. However, it is one of the nicest of its kind in all the places I have visited. It has a lot of artifacts and is very information about the area Alsac.
