The museum is located right across from the Cathedral and one of the many museums you can visit with a one-day (€12) or two-day pass that is a very good value. I visited this, along with the Decorative Arts Museum, the Modern Art Museum (a 10-minute walk away), and the Medieval Art collection also near the cathedral. It seems the gallery is located in the old bishops' palace, which is a beautiful building in and of itself. The Decorative Arts Museum gives you a view of some of the main rooms of the palace, including places used by Louis XV and Napoleon I. The collection is well presented. It is not heavy on major works, but there are a few gems and I enjoyed some of the works by painters (including local painters) that I did not know. Worth a visit for sure.…

This a museum located in an old palace, near the cathedral. It is worth a visit given the nice collection of old masters.

Museum gave good example of the Beaux-Arts period. Did not see an audio guide available. Exhibits were clearly marked and gave good explanations

On the first floor of the Rohan Palace you will find the Museum of Fine Arts. It has European paintings from the Middle Ages to 1870. Flemish, Italian, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism and Romantic styles. They are directly across from the Strasbourg Cathedral so if you have time, it is worth a visit. The rooms are well thought out and not swamped with tourists. Free on the first Sunday of the month, 7 Euros to enter go get the day pass for 12 Euros and see all three museums here! Hours are 10 am-6 pm Tuesday -Sunday. Closed on Mondays. The front desk people accept credit cards and speak English.…
