Seeing this building from a river cruise boat, all we could think about was that so much public money has been spent on such a useless, glass monstrosity. The commentator on the boat told us that the building is used four times per year, and...More

Visited the Parliament for the English guided tour for school groups. The tour and the discussion that followed was very informative and interesting. The architecture and decoration of the buildings is stunning and I strongly recommend the visit.

The European Parliament is an interesting building, but to know more about it you have to be inside. I was part of the group visit and we visited different meeting rooms a tour around the buildings and heard the history of the institution.

As an architect, it was an interesting experience to visit the building, but I would not say that it would be great experience for non-professionals, as it has a limited access.

Visited the Parliament for the English guided tour for individuals. We got in at the entrance 30min before the tour started (with a big group of people also waiting early) so if you want to be sure to fit in, I recommend beeing early. The...More

The second location for the EU parliament to waste money on. What other organisation in the world has 2 headquarters? Having said that an impressive piece of architecture.

The security is there. You are checked and you are allowed to enter the inner court for a quick self-tour. Entering the building is only for delegations and MEPs.
