Nicolle has a real skill matched with great passion. We learnt so much about both the wine and the region. Nicolle led an hours tasting/tuition in our rented house and then later we toured two vineyards and also drove by some of the great chateau. in all 5 hours well spent. Thoroughly recommend SIP wine Tours.

Stumbling upon Nicolle’s SIP Tour was easily the standout experience of our time in Bordeaux. We came to Bordeaux without a tour planned, but after a call with Nicolle, we were confident we’d found the experience we were looking for. We were impressed by her relatable knowledge, humor, organization, and professionalism. However, it’s impossible to properly account for all the nuances that made our time together so extraordinary, so you’ll just have to book for yourself. We still follow Nicolle on Instagram to have a view into an incredible region and as a reminder of a fun, funny, beautiful day. Thank you, Nicolle.

Nicolle is a highly personable and knowledgeable wine educator. She opened doors to vineyards and tastings we would never have otherwise experienced. We found her to be very accommodating and frankly fun to be with. It was a most memorable day.

We did the full day tour with Nicolle Croft to the St Emilion area, including three beautiful chateaux. Some of the things we did: Since the harvest was just starting, there were lots of grapes on the vines we sampled. Learned the history of the different chateaux. Sampled wines, and even tasted freshly squeezed grape juice at one place Explored the old cave where one of the chateaux age their wines Visited the beautiful town of St Emillion. Enjoyed the scenic countryside on the drive from Bordeaux. Nicolle is an excellent guide who is passionate about wine making and this area.

We enjoyed two days with Nicolle Croft touring independent wineries, visiting with vignerons and learning the history of the region. Nicolle does an excellent job learning your interests to best fit your needs in visiting independent producers. These are true growers, farmers and winemakers adapting to the challenges of climate change and evolving customer base. Nicolle has a warm personality and no wine questions are “dumb”. If you are looking for true, in depth experience with someone with over 25 years experience in the wine industry, then seek her out. She even has a book coming out in 2020. This is my second year touring with Nicolle and when I am back I would do the same. If you are studying WSET curriculum, seek out this guide. Nicolle will take you to off the beaten path locations like Castillon and Fronsac.
