Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unique architecture and a beautiful pitch with excellent sight lines from every seat. A nice place to catch a match and accessible via public transport.

Attended the Germany vs. Italy quarter final match which in itself was great.

The stadium features some very unique and interesting architecture

Due to the smart design all the seats seemed great sight lines of the pitch.

Overall a very enjoyable venue to catch a match

Visited for the Spain v Croatia match in the Euros. Great new stadium and very helpful staff. Very easy to get to by tram C from the centre of Bordeaux. Only surprise was for a new stadium was the lack of lifts or escalators to any part. If there were any, staff we spoke to did not know about them! My wife with some mobility problems was shattered after the first 60 steps up to the concourse and then found we needed many stairs more to get to the top where our seats were. But staff were great and changed the tickets for more accessible seats

Build in 2015, this really nice stadion had been built. Lovely view from every corner to the field. All been painted with - so really “fresh”. Big walk arounds with a lot of different foodstores. Parking around normally great (6.000 plages), but when we visited the stadion they blocked the mainroad.

We were lucky enough to catch a game when we visited Bordeaux and found sitting in the Kop a very interesting experience. Special shuttles are put on that meet up with the red tramline making it very easy to get to and from the game on public transport. Good security at the venue and met some friendly locals. Just a shame the local team suffered a loss that day.

Really good stadium for the gig, would suggest you either park outside the stadium or get a cab. It was packed to get out and we walked a couple of miles before grabbing a cab as the roads were Grid locked. The venue itself is very good and big. Plenty of toilets.

The area for home fans behind the goal, which the English call "The Kop", is as vibrant as any EPL team. I paid just 17 euros for the upper level. I strongly recommend not arriving before the gates open as there are few seats or shaded areas outside the stadium.

Great modern stadium not that far from the centre of Bordeaux. Went there by tram, about 35 mins ride from town. Our crowd was 15,000, but no problem getting back the same way. Most fans seem to drive there.

Multiple gates to the stadium, thus no pushing and shoving, comfortable seating plus plenty of bars and fastfood etc. Very open, so no claustrophobic dungeons unlike many older venues.

Great experience!

Attended UEFA Euro 2016 game between Croatia and Spain here, what a venue smooth security even after packed to capacity jubilant fans. Easily accessible by Bordeaux Tram (Last Station on Line C "Stade")

Easy access for football fans, drinks can be had on the seats. The food outlets and drinks were expensive but worth it when you are enjoying a great game of football.
