Beautiful cathedral with gilded wood lectern. Interesting lighting of chandeliers. Half the church has been cleaned and looks great. Easy to find. Closes for three hours at lunch.

Someone cleaned off the graffiti, so the exterior of the church looks fine. Apparently, a cathedral has stood on this site since the sixth century. The gothic cathedral was constructed in the 12th century and the western facade and towers date from then. However, after...More

Not spectacular in any way, and, surprisingly, hard to find! Unusually dar even for a Cathedral. There has been no upkeep in recent years.

Nice Cathedral.. There is no crowd so very nice for shooting but difficult as there is no big space around. I did enjoy it a little :)

Th building is quite plain outside, but lovely within - the city idiots graffiti is sprayed on outside walls. The interior is lovely and well worth an hour or more of your time.

Rennes Cathedral is very ornate with much gold in its decoration. On either side of the nave are a row of red pillars. As I prefer Gothic or Romanesque cathedrals, this is not a favourite!

Impressive blue red and yellow stained glass window. Worth a visit without any wow factor. Fairly dark interior. Exterior is quite unusual.

You can almost miss it , passing by it in the street . The massive structure is not as impressive on the outside , But the inside is stunning ! don't miss the opening hours .

Stunning cathedral. It looks almost stern from the outside but the inside is like a jewel, with gold leaf everywhere, an enormous organ and colourful stained glass windows. We attended the 10:30 am Sunday mass and found the choir and organ music very lovely.
