This is a smaller urban park near the center of Rennes. Nice to go and eat your baguette and stroll around but not a destination in its own right.

Perfect to chill and have a picnic, really nice place. People use to gather around and spend free time. Sometimes cultural events take place there.

I’m not usually too impressed with parks, but this one, in the middle of the delightful city of Rennes, deserves mention due to its variety of vegetation and the zillions of rose varieties.

Lively and obviously loved by the locals of all ages. The water fouintans at the Paris Street entrance were dry - a good sign of awareness of the water scarcity at the end of a long summer.

As far as parks go, this one is beautiful, massive and varied. Our kids loved the sense of adventure and independence to be able to roam (within reason and sight). Toilet facilities could be cleaner and better kept; otherwise, we were fascinated by the nooks...More

I am not sure of the weather in November. The best part of the park, for us, was the bird pavilion. If that is open, it is worth the trip and it is one of the few really open spaces in Rennes. You won't need more than 2... More
