This street is a must when visiting Dijon. Its facades are very old yet exceptionally well-preserved. Its western terminus ends up at the famed Gustave Eiffel Carousel merry-go-round. A more lively place. especially during the market, would be hard to find. Great great people-watching and just chilling-out at an outdoors cafe table. I am done. The end.

Collection of three or so buildings that are architecturally interesting. Hotel Aubriot from the 13th century , Maison Maillard , built for the mayor of Dijon in 1560 and Hotel Chambellan, a lodging for Henri Chambellan. Some fancy stone work on the latter.

This picturesque street runs from the Place Francois Rude past the Notre-Dame Church to Rue Verrerie in the center of Dijon. The street is known for its many (clothing) boutiques and shops but also house some remarkable historical buildings. The Tourist Office is situated at nr.11 with right next door the Hotel de Frasans that was built in 1621 for... More

What a wonderful place to explore and take in all the varieties of culture and tastes in Dijon. I was particularly happy to visit the MAILLE store and was greeted with a wide range of samples of pumped mustard - delicious! I would recommend Dijon to all.

For Happy Hour, beyond the place of Liberation, it is an excellent place to relax, drink and eat. It has a wine shop named Nicolas where good wine with great cost-benefit.

Wondered by and had a beautiful meal at the Moulin a Vent. Very popular place, busy with great atmosphere. Must be popular with locals and tourists alike.

We love these old streets. Great architecture, shops, restaurants, cobbled streets. You can't miss it when you come to Dijon.

This is a fun street to explore in old town Dijon. It has shops, cafes, beautiful buildings and wonderful architecture all around you. Every town we have visited in Europe has a carousel and Dijon is no exception. You will definitely want the experience the charm this street exudes.

Great street to walk down, in fact the whole region is packed with beautiful old buildings and treasures to look at. Seems like pharmacies on every corner too??? A few beggars on streets but they are not pushy (yet) Well worth going out of your way to visit if you are in the region. Lots of shops selling regional specialties... More
