This is a truly spectacular chateau!! The decor and the rooms are truly exquisite. The kitchen is particularly impressive. The gardens are beautiful with amazing blooms and fresh produce. There's a 1st class restaurant and a play area for children, a farm and donkey area...More

Chateau de Chenonceau is one of the classics with wonderful views of the Loire Valley. The Chateau has beautiful gardens and so much historical significance. Great garden, great view, great view of the kings and queens lives, love the history.

Simply a must see attraction. Fairy tale stuff. Probably best to avoid peak season, but even so worth the visit and not bad value.

This chateau is so beautiful you must stop and visit if in the area. Don't miss the vegetable & flower gardens along with the new wine cave.

Unless you are on a bus tour, you probably need a car. You could also try one day tour companies like Viator to book day tours. The major chateaus in the Loire Valley are a bit spread out. Also, maybe your hotel could... More
