One of France's great cathedrals

Tours ia a perfect small city with everything France is so loved for. The stain glass windows of ST-Gatien are of greatest beauty.

This cathedral is one of the biggest I've visited by the side of a river in a small city, it is definitive in its architecture. It is beautiful.

A beautiful cathedral where you can really appreciate the architecture and artistic creation behind it. Worth a visit.

Lovely large church, worth popping your head in for a look. Great stain glass window, lots of Gothic influences.

Well worth a visit. Very quiet, few tourists about. Most beautiful stained glass windows I've ever seen. Free entry.

The Gothic church is beautiful, but I would not travel from Paris just to see the cathedral. The architecture is same as the other churches thru out France.

This Cathedral was recommended by so many that it was a "must see" for me. A 15 minute walk from my hotel was well rewarded. This Cathedral dates back many centuries & the stained glass windows, 13 historic ones, are genuine works of art that are several centuries old. In November there were only a few people there on a... Beautiful and impressive old cathedral. Always very nice and calming to stroll around in a cathedral and to watch the impressive construction work and the ornaments.

I first discovered this cathedral in 2007 when I was studying in Tours. I have since moved to the city, so I walk past the cathedral almost every day. I am still in awe of its architecture and history. Being an American, we simply don't have this kind of architecture and history, so I try and enjoy it every day.
