I always go to the market in town when I visit and this is where I went in Reims. The quality of food was very good and the experience at total pleasure.

This is a fantastic market with a wide range of products on sale. It is so busy and there is quite a buzz in the hall.
Well worth a visit.

Freshly gathered pink mushrooms, homemade patés and sausages, local meat and vegetable products in a beautiful hall. Only got there my last day but NEXT TIME ...

Always love going to markets especially in other countries. The food and alcohol available is always amazing and you just want to try it all. Vodka at 10 am was a tad early for me though. I bought some nice souvenirs here and salivated at every food stand. You could buy kitchenware that I could not get back home but too heavy to take with me. A great place to spend the day.

On Saturday mornings there is a lively food market - depending on the season you can get at least 6 (yes, six) different types of strawberries and other fruits. Vegetables including roasted beets and raw beets, jars of preserves, and fresh fish. Masses of flowers. On the first Sunday of the month there is a flea market - I've seen everything from furniture, to fur coats and hats, to jewelry (costume and fine), and vintage bar ware. Another Reims place you shouldn't miss. It is across the street from the Porte de Mars, a Roman ruin that is under restoration.

French market which had an impressive selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, pastries, meats, seafood, cheese and condiments. Just wish we could have bought more and taken it all home. Recommend a visit.

What a beautiful market, flowers, breads, ham, cheeses, fish. All beautifully presented. The stalls empty quickly as the products are so good. It’s modern but still very traditional.
Lots of cafes and restaurants locally too.

So nice to see this building being used as a market again. When I lived here 20 years ago the building was tired and shabby - now it's restored and the market adds life and colour to the whole area. If you're in Reims on a Saturday morning go there for some local colour and produce from a wide range of local producers. Well worth a look.

Does the food market continue to run as normal while the Christmas market runs in November/December? Thank you!
