We loved this museum. Collect the english guide in the office as you pay, and if a senior citizen get a half price rate. At 2.50 euros it’s so worth it. The history of clocks and watches is beautifully explained, with incredible time pieces displayed...More

This museum is in a beautiful part of the city, Place Granvelle, we enjoyed all the exhibits and lunch afterwards in the square with statue of Victor Hugo, born in Besançon. Maison Victor Hugo is farther up the street, very interesting also.

Had a group tour (private) to the museum as part of a symposium at ENSMM. Very nice collection, in good condition, and our tour guide was great.
