See it from the Eiffel Tower
Oct 2019
Les Jardins du Trocadero are beautiful gardens in a wonderful part of the city. Just across over the Seine River is the Eiffel Tower and in the Gardens section is the Palais de Chaillot, another majestic building. There are many amazing water features and numerous sculptures and plenty of space to enjoy. Certainly a place to visit especially during warmer days, but every other day also. The view from the Eiffel Tower is fantastic.

Best View to Eiffel Tower
Sep 2020 • Friends
A long ascent will take you to the stairs decorated with beautiful statues. Going up, you’ll get the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. Lots of tourists stand here to take the perfect shot with it. There weren’t many tourists this time due to COVID

Le notre Garden Landscape and refreshing during summers FREE!
Sep 2019
Beautiful gardens inspired by Louis XIV's landscape architect André Le Nôtre. It is located just across the Eiffel Tower and Seine river.

Le Notre projected the Marseille castle gardens. There is a Nextflix doc about him. Very instructional if you like history, architecture and gardens.

During the French hot summers people kindly invade the water to refresh. The day we were visiting it was 42oC. Really hot. At the top facing the Eiffel Tower there are twenty powerful water cannons that project water every 15 minutes or so. If you don't want to go inside the water, that is ok, stand near by and fell the water mist.

View of the Eiffel Tower
Jan 2020
The gardens are really large and are located across the bridge from the Eiffel Tower. Because of this, it has a really nice vantage of the tower.
The best place for the view of the Eiffel Tower is at the esplanade close to the Museum. It is at the top end of the giant Trocadero Fountain in the middle of the gardens. The fountains weren't running when we were there though but it did look amazing.
We didn't have a lot of time so I wasn't able to fully explore the gardens. The bit that I did pass were really peaceful and tidy. We cut through the pond area to the esplanade to get a foggy view of the tower. It did look like there was a small fair going on with stalls but I didn't get close enough to inspect it.
It was a really large and beautiful garden with a really amazing view of the Eiffel Tower (if the weather is good). Being located close to the Eiffel Tower means that it isn't too difficult to get to.

Crowded, nice place
Jun 2019
Perhaps many people concentrate here to get the best photo shoot of the Eiffel Tower. And probably more and more people in the evening when the lights turn on for the tower to glow. The fountain found here is nice, and it helps in complementing the landscape. The Seine river also offers the possibility of great view from the Trocadero. On another hand, several people sell souvenirs on the street. Since it is a crowded area, it is advised to be alert on pickpockets who are in pursue of distracted tourists.

Perfect View of Eiffel Tower
Aug 2019
Les Jardin du Trocadero is an amazing viewpoint for Eiffel. It is great for pictures with a good height of Eiffel Tower in your background. Further, there are a lot of merchants in the area selling crepes, wine, pastries, etc. - it is a good picnic spot too!

extra note: Good view of the sparking Eiffel tower at night too!

However , I warn you that there are a LOT of people visiting trucadero gardens. So, If you want good daylight pictures for social media, suggest to be there before 9am.

Perfect Picnic Spot,
Feb 2020 • Couples
We walked over along the Seine, beautiful cool sunny day. We had packed a couple of sandwiches and a lovely bottle of white wine. Found a great bench directly across the street from the Eiffel Tower. Enjoyed a very romantic lunch without hordes of people. Great photo spot as well.

Cascaded gardens and fountains
Dec 2019
When descending down from the Trocadero massive edifices housing several museums on the upper plateau, you pass this magnificent cascading gardens.
In the middle is a beautiful fountain with statues around. From every angle is a terrific view of the Eiffel tower, so it's a perfect photo stop.
The Jardins are popular with fashion shows, I saw few of them there during my previous visits.
