Paris is an immigrant city and this area proves it. So dig in and see all the cafes, restaurants and barber shops in what used to be the heart of the fabric/clothes area. Some cool old architecture. A little seedy, but safe.

This area contains loads of Asian and Indian shops mostly selling fabrics and clothing. Also some very good value shops selling suits and dresses.
