I stay in the area for business frequently and love coming to this family bakery. Don't expect any English to be spoken here- this is a locals spot to "grab and go" it's cash only and there's one man behind the counter or in the baking room- or his daughter! Monday-Friday they have "French Pizza!" On weekends, they bake more... More

This was by far the greatest bakery in the neighborhood - the croissants were excellent, the breads - each one. Oils be eaten as candy. And then, something went wrong and the bread was no longer fluffy on the inside but stale and hard! Too bad!

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
