The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Opéra / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

An absolute waste of money! All they show are a few bridges, the Seine, Notre Dame Church, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde, Madeleine and the Eiffel Tower. Paris has so many more places to visit! It was so disappointing! They ended by exploring the world and covered The Great Wall of China, Victoria Falls (South Africa), Angel Falls (Latin America), some place in Serbia, some other place in Russia, Montblanc (Chamonix). This part of it was way better than the part about Paris, but I can't seem to figure out why they wouldn't show the Niagara Falls instead of the other two falls! They could have come up with better places to visit! They should have covered Paris better! The ride wasn't smooth at all!

This is a new activity in Paris and one worthwhile experiencing. The whole experience is well presented by a very capable uniformed staff. We were taken into an anti-room for a briefing on the 'Jet Packs' then we moved into a very impressive room where about 30 launch pads were located. Great anticipation.

Secured in the jet-pack we were then "launched" and it was amazing. I held on to my handgrips like grim death! The jet-packs shake to enhance the sensation of flying and the experience of shooting across the city was fantastic. What a great ride - and we hadn't moved! Great experience.

Forget the negative reviews - some people are never satisfied. The "flight" itself is awesome! It's almost impossible to believe that you're actually on the ground in a shaking cage. You honestly feel as though you are really flying. The sights you see you would never be able to experience actually visiting the attractions.
The drone-eye views are sensational!
If you're visiting Paris DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS.

My daughter and I enjoyed the Fly View experience. Some people have noted that the experience is not HD quality. But it is not advertised as HD quality so cannot mark it down for that. It gives an experience of the great potential of virtual reality. The staff were very professional and friendly.

Bought the ticket online and reached the place 10 mins before the time slot. there were 5 people with me so there were quite a few empty slots. The reception guys were quite polite and spoke in English. At the appointed time we were called in for a briefing which was delivered entirely in French. Then went to stand in a "jet pack" and strapped down to it. The headset was worn over the eyes (with or with out spectacles did not matter) and the experience began. The jet pack vibrates and moves giving the simulation of flying. The sounds and music were quite nice but the poor image quality was a big let down. The images per se were great with detailed views of the Eiffel Tower, Seine river, and best of all Notre Dame cathedral.
The ambiance was very good with the makeup of an airport lounge.

An option of our Trafalgar tour included FlyView and what a top class experience this was. The VR vision could have been more clear but this didn't detract from the overall experience. I gather that the operators are in the process of improving this. Can definitely recommend for all ages (that meet the height restriction).

We visited with my two young boys (ages 10 and 8). While they enjoyed it, my husband and I found it to be very blah. The quality of the video was poor (fuzzy). Most virtual rides experience drops and feelings of flying. This did not do that.

If you do find your way to this, don’t pay the full price. There are discounts that can be found.

I did find the people that worked there to be very nice.

I hope they make and virtual video a bit more exciting in the future. It could be a big hit.

This was a find and a half. My 13 yr old loved it. Easy booking system and great staff on site. We walked in and started our experience about 5 minutes later. We flew Paris and the world. We were told it was about 90 mins but it was neared 65. If you are in Paris with kids it’s a blast but don’t do it if you have a fear of heights

Definitely recommend the Fly View Paris, it is different to other fly over experiences and cheap, when in Paris do not miss it.
