Sylvanie was a very knowledgable and Friendly guide. Her correspondence was excellent and she was very accommodating. Her level of English is superb.she brought the village to life.

I would highly recommend Art Story Walks, especially if you are looking to see the highlights of the museum in a condensed amount of time. My friend and I were in Paris for a quick stay and wanted to visit the Musee d' Orsay and I had read about Art Story Walks. I reached out to Sylvanie in advance and she was a pleasure to communicate with and was very responsive and offered to purchase our tickets in advance for us too. We met her at our agreed upon time and instantly connected with her. She was extremely knowledgable and knew where all the pieces were that we wanted to see and explained the history behind each piece to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour tour with Sylavnie and I know you will too!

Sylvanie guided us for two days. We were on a girls trip with my mom and two daughters (ages 14 and 13) and she did a fantastic job of entertaining and engaging everyone. My teens were not looking forward to a 3 hour tour of the Louvre, but both ended up saying it was their favorite part of our 10 day trip to Paris! Sylvanie engaged them with stories of Greek and Roman gods/goddesses and scandals of various works of art. 3 hours went by like it was 15 minutes!
The next day she took us to Musee L'Orangerie and Musee D'Orsay and then out to Giverny. Again, she kept everyone entertained and interested. The girls had fun and learned too!
Sylvanie has a clear passion for art history and an excellent way to conveying that passion to others. She was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly and instantly likeable. We had a fantastic two days with her guiding us and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour. I only wish we had known about her earlier and booked all our tours with her! Thank you so much Sylvanie!

We did a private tour of Sainte Chapelle and the nearby area of Notre Dame with Sylvanie. She is very knowledgeable and she explained everything in great detail. She has a great sense of humor which made the entire tour an enjoyable experience. At last I would like to mention that she was able to arrange elevator access for our senior parents , something which we had specifically requested for. She also kept the pace of the tour slow enough for our parents. Overall, this was a memorable experience for us.

My 2 daughters and I took a tour with Sylvanie in December of 2022. This was the best tour guide I have ever met in my life. My daughters having little knowledge of the impressionist painters, Sylvanie took the time to go back in time at the Musee D'Orsay to show us what had happened before impressionism so everything would make sense to us when we moved on to impressionism, the era I had most specifically requested. The tour was thorough, and she even stayed a little longer than was agreed upon to show us more areas of the museum. What stuck with us was her perfect knowledge of the english language. Sylvanie is French but her english flows so well, you would think she was a native. We really appreciated her skills, having had before some guides we could barely understand. She is a happy person and so entertaining, explaining during the tour all kinds of stories and funny facts about the art in front of us. This will stay in my mind as the most incredible experience in Paris. For that reason, we have decided to take some of the other tours she offers when we visit Paris again very soon. Good job, Sylvanie. Don't change anything!

My husband and I did a 2-hour tour of the Louvre with Sylvanie and it was fantastic! We asked for the greatest hits because we didn't have a lot time and she delivered above and beyond, giving us very interesting back stories and making the experience fun. She is very nice and knowledgeable. A couple of weeks later I reached out to her because I had family members visiting Paris and they needed a guided tour in Spanish. She referred my family to other guides quickly, who were also great. I highly recommend Sylvanie for your next Paris experience!

Sylvanie was amazing with our 6-9 year olds! She was entertaining, engaging, and unbelievably patient! The parents were just as enthralled as the kids. She made our Lourve experience incredible and we highly recommend her!

We spent the day with Sylvanie visiting the Louvre, D’Orsay, La Ongerie and Montmartre and to say it is a day we’ll treasure for years to come would be an understatement, we absolutely loved our time together. Sylvanie’s stories, her knowledge and love of art and Paris is unmatched and we were so lucky to have the opportunity to learn from her during our day together. Our 16 and 14 year olds also loved it - would highly recommend Sylvanie and when we can come back to Paris we will definitely be doing more tours with her.

We toured the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay with Sylvanie with our two teens. She helped us discover the museums most important pieces, telling interesting stories and sharing her expertise. My husband and I had visited these places before, but we got so much more out of it on her private tour. Her English is excellent and she studied art history in Rome and really knows her stuff! My kids really enjoyed our time with her too. We would definitely use her again.

Amy, i'm so happy to read your review. I hope you've been doing well, and i'm so glad you liked the tours at the Louvre, the Orangerie and Orsay museum. I had a great time with your family too, and now everytime i see Philadelphia in a movie i think about all of you and the Barnes Foundation that i'm dying to go see haha

Sylvanie was the best guide ever! she is knowledgeable, funny, kind and attentive. she had lots of stories to tell the kids and made everything interesting and never tiresome. we would really reccomend her tours and hope to meet her again next time we are in Paris!
