this was the first thing we did when in Paris. we always do a walking tour early on to get a feel. Paris is absolutely huge so it is not really possible to get everything in a single walking tour but we got a fantastic feel for the city. plenty of history and recommendations/advice from our tour guide (Daniel) -... Had a great time doing this walking tour in Paris with Esteban. He made the tour interesting and I got a great history of the city of Paris. We got to see a lot of the major sites all rolled into one 2 1/2 hour session, which I gave me a good idea of the city Paris really is. Granted... More

This tour with, Hugo, was jam-packed with historical facts and stories!! I throughly enjoyed how each stop had a story that made learning history quite fun. If you see Hugo, he goes by "The Scourge of God." :)

My family and I took the Paris free walking tour, Latin Quarters tour and the Versailles tour. It was great because we were able to go at a leisurely pace while taking in all that the sites had to offer. Our tour guides, though British, were very good at explaining--neither too rehearsed nor too stiff. I feel like they even... More

One of the great ways to familiarize and understand more of a city is to explore it on a walking tour. Sandeman's New Europe was great and our walking guide Alberto was great- informative, engaging and richly conversational.Would stringly recommend the same

Highly recommended, my guide Daniel (the Irish guy) was absolutely incredible. He knew so much of the history of the city, offering little insights which I haven't seen on other tours. His passion for the history was infectious, and it was this that inspired me to go on the tour of the Montmartre district in the evening. My guide Alex... More

Onno, our Sandeman's tour guide for Paris, was excellent. He showed us several of the city's well-known sites, along with an excellent narrative and interesting facts.

Hugo brought the Latin Quarter to life on this tour, with his in-depth knowledge and sense of humor. It was so cold outside, but sometimes it was so interesting and fun that I forgot! There are a ton of incredible sights to see on this walk, from Roman ruins to the Sorbonne, and I highly recommend it. Two hours can't... More

The free Paris tour with Oliver was so good that we had to go on his tour of Montmartre later that night! He was very funny and extremely knowledgeable. This tour is a MUST at the beginning of your trip to Paris.

Free walking tour with Daniel (the IRish guy with the American accent) was thoroughly enjoyable. Lots of informative and fun facts about Paris you could never learn from a book. Daniel was a great guide and I would certainly recommend this tour to everyone. 2.5 hours passed by so quickly - it was a great experience. What a great introduction... More
