If you are interested in architecture, this museum is a must. They have terrific temporary exhibits, but it helps if you can read French since most explanations are not translated. The permanent exhibit of mock-ups of famous buildings is unusual and stunning.

Stumbled on this the first floor has wonderful casts of many famous buildings, some of which have been destroyed in War. That was enough to rate 5 stars, but the 2d floor was even better We almost missed the best. Go to the back on...More

Just outside the trocadero metro station, be careful not to use this main entrance as it is locked. Enter further down the Harold Wilson road entrance. The museum is split over 3 floors, the first floor is shop and library, second floor has examples of...More

I would definitely come here again, the displays of modern architecture are amazing. Unfortunately a whole floor of stained glass was closed when we visited, which seemed to be a theme with The Louvre and Musee d'Orsay as well. Or the price it is a...More

This is a small little visited museum with the best view of Paris. The building itself is stunning, though be wary the special exhibits are in the basement, the space is small and can really only house small scale sketches. The rest of the museum...More

Went for a specific exhibit but was very impressed by the whole collections. Lets you look up close to some historic architecture and lean about the details of how buildings are constructed and how the trends of architecture develop. As an added benefit, has a...More

Okay, so I like architecture and can respect it but I was shocked at how few people were in this museum. It's located in in the Trocadero across the seine from the Eiffel Tower. We stopped here because we had an hour to kill, and...More

We had an extra day in Paris and wanted to see a different museum but one that was interesting and worth the effort. The first floor of this museum alone was worth the effort. Fabulous church archways seen up close. Great carvings and gargoyles. I...More

This museum is close to the Eiffel Tower and was a pleasant break from the crowds and heat. It has a diverse range of exhibits, cathedral arches to minature skyscrapers and cross sections of commercial buildings. It also had some models of prototypes of buildings...More

They have just changed their opening hours but not updated their website, all other opening hours online are wrong as well (google etc). I wasn't the only one in front of the museum with a disappointed face. I find this very unprofessional but can't judge...More

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive
