A person cannot visit Paris without checking out the Eiffel Tower. It is a historical landmark. We stayed around the base of the tower to relax and had a picnic. It is full of tourist, the lines are long, the tickets aren't cheap to climb the top but the view from the top is out of this world. It is... More

Not for those afraid of heights but magnificent to see! Views of surrounding areas were spectacular. Particularly at night! Lovely atmosphere.

Going up is a Paris must (although I recommend you book in advance as the lines can be quite daunting), and viewing the tower from below at night is an amazing sight. The only irk I have is that, the Tower being a massive attraction, its entire surroundings are full... More

We got tickets to walk to the second floor and the views were fantastic. I was sceptical about paying the go up but it was well worth it and enjoyable too. Do it!

Never fails to inspire and embody everything that is best about France. Look up then travel up and look down. Then look out and whatever the perspective you will draw a breath in of pure joy and delight. Shame about security changes but see beyond modern day fears and wallow in French style, rooftops and red wine, car horns and... More

We booked our tickets online in advance to ensure we could get in as it says that there can be queues on the day - maybe we were lucky - as there weren’t. The tickets for such an iconic place are surprisingly reasonable - having been to many other European cities. You cant afford not to go up The longest... More

It was cool to see it in person. There was too many trinket sellers around. There was also scammers trying to get money for a deaf school. They said it was to sign a petition but really they just wanted money. It was beautiful all lit up at night. There was quite a bit of security around. We did not... More
