My wife and I decided to go up the Eiffel Tower on our last day in Paris. It costs £17 euros to get the elevator to the top of the tower. The first elevator only takes you to the first and second floors. You must change to a smaller elevator to reach the summit. The elevators are very regular and... More

Its the eiffle tower, theirs not much to it, its quite nice at night. But the entrance fee is absurd, but I would advice have a nice baguette in the park near the tower and enjoy the view at night.i came here many times and always preferred staying in the bottom and not going up.

It's a must see if you are in Paris but it is more impressive from a distance than close up. The views from the top are great but there are nicer things in Paris

Look- we were first time tourists in Paris- we HAD to go. Advance tickets if you want to go to the summit are a must and will save you hours. We went in the late afternoon and sunset as well as the surprisingly cool light display were added bonuses. Stay away from the dudes with the cup-and-ball games although- if... More

Awesome experience! The virw at the top of the Eiffel Tower was breath taking. My daughter and I was there twice in 2005. Did I mention the food in Paris on this area is great!

On this visit we decided to go to the very top of the Eiffel Tower rather than just the second floor. We caught the elevator which was great but be prepared for some people who think the next elevator is the only one for the day and push from behind to ensure they either displace those already in queue or... Spoiler alert - not one for those with a fear of heights or enclosed spaces. Pleasant experience which gives you and unparalleled view of the Paris sky line. Could do with more entertainment on the ground level and interactive features and also opening more of the legs. Only one leg was open so the queues weren't short. Apart from that... More

I mean it is a national treasure but so is Pamela Anderson. It looks really cool with a bunch of blinding twinkling lights, but again so does Pamela. If you want to save some money and see a large phallus I would recommend checking out the Cn tower or the Washington monument, depending where you are from.
