The experience and presentation of Oriental art was extraodinary. Personnel working at musee should be give a course in Customer Service, some were unpolite.

My husband and I expected a "small" collection, based on reviews I've seen. We were blown away by the size of the museum and the quality of the exhibits. We've been in Asian art museums all over Europe and the US, and feel that this...More

The south east Asian section is really excellent . There are many pieces, specially Hindu gods and godesses from Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar. The 20ft long five-headed naga captures the imagination among others. In comparison there are fewer exhibits from India, China and Japan. Again...More

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive
Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National
museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill
the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher,
florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury
and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most
famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings
are small art galleries and homes of historical
