Must see

I don't know how you could spend less than a day inside. It was worth the queue and buying the audio guide.

You visit, you must visit the Louvre it really is a 'must see attraction'! Take a little time to appreciate the outside of the museum, the Louvre is a impressive piece of architecture and is absolutely enormous. You can purchase the audio tour, I declined as its best to immerse yourself in all the art, the paintings and the history,... More

The Louvre is a long, slow-moving walk which can take up most of the day. If you're short on time, see the most important works. I bought a queue-jumping ticket which sped us up through security, and meant we didn't have to queue up again in the ticket hall. YOU WILL HAVE TO QUEUE UP TWICE IF YOU DON'T PRE-BOOK!!!... More

The art is incredible. Buy your ticket online and pick them up at the Paris tourist office. That gets you in without lines(in low season). Official app is not good. Audio recording is fair to ok. Most cards at exhibits are in French. Do your homework before you get there of you want to know stuff. The free Wifi is... More

If you are a fan of history and art like me, then do take an afternoon or a day (or even split it into two days like I did) and make a plan when you get there. You have maps at the info desks and choose what you would like to see first (for example greek antiquities) becouse the whole... More

The building is incredible. It's enormous, with many wings and galleries. The art displayed is without equal, as is the building itself. Visiting Paris without going to the Louvre is insane, even if you have to wait for a few hours.

Everything you can think of, you'd find it there, Romanian, Egyptian, Greek, Medieval, Renaissance, you can walk through different eras of history while you walk through its halls.

You have to visit the louvre if only to see the Mona Lisa & Venus De Milo. However this year Everyone has to go through security and every bag checked. The lines at all entrances are long. Dont even think of going without a pre bought ticket and if possible arrive early. All that said one the worlds great museums.
