About
Dali Paris exhibits over 300 artworks by Salvador Dali from a private collection. Painting, sculptures, etchings, surrealist objects and furniture bring to life the peculiar ideas of an insatiable explorer, passionate about atomic science, the Antiquity, the Renaissance, alchemy or religion. Salvador Dali never stopped modeling, transforming. His sculptures are one of the major aspects of his life work, materializing in three dimensions his surrealistic obsessional motifs: soft watches, spindly legs animals, open or closed drawers. Salvador Dali had an encyclopedic culture, and reinvents major texts from international literature by illustrating them: Alice in Wonderland, Don Quichotte, the Bible, offering an infinite variety of forms and colors, from delicate watercolors to striking splashes. The Art Gallery will offer specialized advice thanks to qualified experts, archive consultation and catalogues raisonnes.

    Surreal experience
This was included in the Paris Pass, although their stated opening hours were not at all up to date. Unsure whether it would be possible to visit or not but so glad we did. Located just around the corner from Place du Terte, there's really no excuse to miss it. It's a smallish gallery but light and airy with a simple through-route and informative displays. I don't think you need to be a fan of Dali or Surrealism to enjoy the works displayed, though that would certainly be an incentive to visit. It wasn't entirely clear what was original and what was not as reproductions were available for sale (at a price). Recommended, nevertheless.
Thank you very much, we are delighted that you enjoyed your visit! All of the scupltures, draws and paintings are originals but you can buy some multiple at our gallery also. They're in limited edition, it's an exclusive procedure which was alllowed by Salvador Dali himself only for certan number of mutliples for each artwork, he autorized it to Mr. Levi the owner of our collection. Hope you'll come again!

One of the best small museums I’ve been to
I have been to Montmartre many times but for some reason I never visited this museum before. My friend was getting a portrait done and we had an hour to kill, so we went, and I’m so glad we did. What a gem! We ended up spending two hours. The collection gives you great insight into the life and mind of the artist and includes things you won’t see elsewhere. It made our afternoon in Montmartre more than just about shopping and seeing the view. I left with a great appreciation for Dali and with lots to think about.
Thank you very much, we are delighted that you enjoyed your visit! We're looking forward to see you again.

A great way to see a ton of Dali's sculptures in depth. They have more than just his sculptures of course, but they seem to be the central theme. While they did not offer an audio tour, all the pieces have descriptions by them for you to read. Certainly a must do for Dali lovers, however, I am not sure its a must do for anyone else. You'll probably spent about 30-45 minutes with ease. Connected to the museum is a small gallery where you can purchase his work or work by other artists inspired by Dali. We went during a weekday and had no problem walking up and purchasing tickets, however, I believe they sell them in advance on-line and that might be worth doing to avoid issues.

This is a private museum of an art dealer who worked with Dali. The museum has an impressive collection of sculpture work by Surrealist artist Salvador Dali. The artwork is displayed with text descriptions in French and English. There is also artwork available for sale before exiting the museum and gallery.
A visit here can easily be paired with a visit to the Sacre Coeur and Musee d'Montmartre.

The Dali Paris is not a must see in Paris like the Orsay or the Louvre. Dali was a great artist but the Dali Paris has the feel more like an art gallery than a museum dedicated to this guy. It's part of the Paris City Pass so we made use of it but if you're short in time, you can avoid this. The Paris museum is definitely not on the same evel as the St. Petersburg one. It doesn't have any of the great giant portraits like Florida does. It does have many drawings and sculptures but I was left wanting. 90 minutes would be sufficient here.

Dear StephenN1694, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy our museum as much as the one in Florida. Our collection is a private one with more than 300 artworks with mainly sculptures and engravings. But as you said we do not have giant portraits nor oil paintings but we hope you liked your experience anyway (and Montmartre!) Best regards,

Just around the corner of Place du Tertre (tourist trap pur-sang) you can find this small museum with some nice art works. Often with a smile, sometimes open mouth for the original statues and paintings. It is a private museum but the €14 fee is OK for me to help preserve this collection. You can spend an hour, hour and a half there and leave with a good feeling.

I very much enjoyed visiting Dali Paris! The museum is fantastic, it includes a wide range of Dali’s works and helpful explanations around his use of symbols in his work. There is also a gallery that sells original works from Dali which includes a great selection and the certainty of their authenticity given their expertise. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I expected more, honestly. None of the famous paintings you think of when you think of Dalí are here. I think some are in Spain and most are in Florida. You can see a lot of his sketches and statues here, and some lovely pictures of Gala. I was underwhelmed by this museum. The museum is quite small - expect to spend about 45 minutes here. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re a diehard Dalí fan. I found it overpriced for the size and collection. Unlike many other museums and attractions in Paris, you definitely don’t need to buy tickets in advance for this one.

A fairly small museum with an attached gallery, but really well done. The museum is in the basement, I can't say whether there was a lift, we went down a long flight of stairs to start with, but everything was absolutely up to date, superbly lit and the exhibits were presented very well. Lots of sculptures by Dali, explanations everywhere in French and English and therefore extremely informative.
Not only did we not regret the time we spent here, we actually enjoyed it, it was really great.
Admission price in an acceptable range (adults 14€, reduced - for schoolchildren, students, over 65s - 12€, disabled people free) and a really friendly reception.

If you're into Dali or art in general this is a good way to spend an hour or two. It's not a huge museum but it's well stocked in terms of the art itself and the information it provides on Dali. Also it's central location lends itself to being part of a day in the area. Worth a visit!

Amazing art from one of my favourite artist. The museum is a small private museum in Montmartre with incredible works much of which I'd never seen before. Lots of fantastic sculptures as well as paintings.
If you like Dali don't miss this gallery
Easy to get to by metro.
