the ticket and drinks (i paid 8 euros for one small bottle of coke, EIGHT!) are overwhelmingly expensive for what the show presents my mom and i bought two tickets without drinks, and for this reason, the waiter seated us in one of the only three tables in the corner where there was no catering service, which means it was... Nice place due to the history, but in general there are a lot of other nice places to visit in Paris.

Very expensive. Food was good, but you can do better anywhere else. There is fairly good selection on the price fix menue.

Booked weeks in advance at the official website of Moulin Rouge, paying full price. Arrived on time and was seated in almost the very back section, but at least directly in front of the stage. Seems like all the groups purchasing discount tickets sit closest. Food was Ok, but NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Only benefit was you get to sit... More

This was the most enjoyable show I've ever seen, the variety was amazing. We chose the champagne option and were perfectly happy with it. Go see it!!

I think I was expecting something a little more authentic and risqué when I attended the Féerie show at Moulin Rouge on the first night of my first trip to Paris. Although my expectations were not quite at the level of the Hollywood portrayal of the venue, I was very disappointed to see that this infamous burlesque show has diminished... More

We loved the show, very glamorous and colourful. However the attitude of the waiters put a bit of a downer on the whole experience. We tried in vain nearly all night to order a drink. The waiters either looked the other way or just totally ignored us, they were neither polite nor friendly. And when we did finally get to... More

First off I loved the show and all the performers were incredibly talented. However, we were lucky we were right at the front. The stage is tiny and they pack people in. If you were in the back your view would be very obstructed and considering the price of the tickets is not by allocated seat I do feel this... More

We had a great time. the steak dinner actually exceeded our hopes and the service was also very good. We bought the medium priced meal, which meant we were seated near the middle towards the back, but that was fine. If you want to be nearer the stage, then book the expensive menu. That is not really clear on the... More

This was the greatest show I have ever seen. I went with my father , we still talk about it all the time. I love the movie and let me just say, the actual thing surpassed anything I even thought the movie was about. Dinner was great, we had complimentary champagne and great steaks, but the show, the show was... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
