First time here, and it was a nice spot to relax and stroll around. The garden is so pretty and so quiet. You forget you are in the middle of a city.

It was our first time at the Gardens but well worth the visit. We took a leisurely stroll and watched as children sailed small boats. Ideal place for a picnic or just to relax.

A huge park right in the middle of Paris. Wading pool, tennis courts, lawn areas and chairs for everyone to use make this a really unique place in the city. Relaxing and pleasant. Trees provide shade for those hot sunny days!

We had been walking all day, we needed to rest. This was a nice stop. We bought a coffee, sat on a bench, and watched the kids sail boats in the fountain.

It is amusing to watch the children playing with the little boats on the pond, we sat here for lunch on several occasions.

We enjoyed walking through the Luxembourg Gardens at a leisurely pace. The gardens were pretty, there were some places to sit and enjoy the quiet and enough shaded areas to get out from under the sun.

Walk around the gardens, watch kids sail boats in the pond, students reading and having discussion groups, watch bocci ball and tennis. Get a good look at Parisiens using their public space.

There is a more touristy part of these gardens (near the mansion and the pond), but if you go to the outskirts you'll find smaller areas that definitely cater more to locals. And it really seems like they love it We sat for a while...More

There were some crepes stalls and coffee stands. We got sandwiches from a shop just outside. Plenty of chairs and sears inside.
