I’m an avid tennis fan and seeing all the Grand Slam tournaments is on my bucket list. Last spring, I travelled to Paris to watch the French Open. Unfortunately, the city was hit with record breaking rainfall. The day that I was to attend was cancelled and the French Tennis Federation promised 100% refunds. But they didn’t just issue refunds... Time: June 2015 Try to reach Porte d'Auteuil from metro. Metro map would be handy in this case. From Porte d'Auteuil you can simply walk to the court. Try to be carry sunscreen, sunglasses, wear appropriate clothes as the weather would be hot and humid. Re-entry is prohibited. Try to get souvenirs.

We had a wonderful visit to Roland Garros for the 2016 French Open. I highly recommend that you buy a ticket package that gets you tickets into the stadiums and also a hospitality suite. Buy your tickets well ahead of time (Feb), as the packages get sold out. We got ours through Steve Furgal's International Tennis Tours. Very reputable. Their... More

Very well organised despite the fear of terrorist attacks. Wonderful and magical. Walked with my childhood heroes Mats Wilander, Gugga, Boris Becker.... Watched champions like Djokovic, Serena and our very own Leader and Hingis win the mixed doubles. Movement of spectators was smooth and helpers were everywhere. Some drizzle but thankfully no rain. Very expensive souvenirs but reasonably priced food.... More

This venue is very beautiful. We had tickets for the third round in the Suzanne Langlein court. We loved the size of this stadium as you felt very close to the court. The atmosphere was great. Saw 4 games. We were in the north stand. There may have been a bit more shade in the south stand. Good selection of... More

Despite a tournament fraught with rain this year, I sat for an hour in the rain waiting to watch my hometown boy Milos Raonic on open court (court 2 -front row) beat his Serbian opponent Tipsarevic in 1st round play. This is an awesome venue that I can only imagine would be perfect in sunny weather. Future renovations include a... More

Came here specifically for the French Open. Was able to catch a men's Quarterfinal between Djokovic and Berdych, as well as Serena Williams Semifinal's match. Amazing experience, and got to see the best male and female tennis players at the moment. The seats we had were really nice, and felt pretty close to the action. The staff were really nice... More

Our family dream came true when we finally went to Roland Garros (RG) this year. We were also very lucky that it did not rain any of the days we went. We had tickets for the first Tuesday and those were Prime Tickets which included lunch at one of the fancy restaurants. Oh, lord. What an experience!. Then, we went... More

We were lucky this year because on the day we attended it did not rain, but the sun did not shine. The matches we saw in the main Stadium were excellent. The crowds were enormous, but all were well- behaved and the efficiency of the well-organized staff was exemplary. It was a true pleasure to attend this major world class... More
