The church of St Eustache is located in the area of "Les Halles" in the center of the city. Houses and shops lean against the north and east wall. The entrance right now is still on the south side but renovations are taking place on...More

Go Sunday at 5:30 for the organ concert. One of the oldest in the world. Stay for Mass. It's on the pilgrimage route of St. Jacques de Compostelle look for scallop shells.

Quite a spectacle in the day, more so in the night! Sadly viewing angles are restricted as there is a new metro station being built.

Walking into this beautiful church felt like a walk back several centuries. Beautiful rustic inside. Don't miss the hugh, modern sculpture on the outside.

St Eustache is breathtakingly beautiful. Although many buildings in Paris have a "wow" factor, St. Eustache has this without the hoards of tourists (ironic coming for one, I know), therefore the experience of this can be cherished with some solitude. The scale of this beautiful...More

Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris,
Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but
the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it
houses the main shopping mall, which nestles
underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and
international restaurants coupled with beautiful
churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to
it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and
