This is very fast and comfortable mode of travel. It took just 2 hours to cover a distances over 350 KM. The cabin is very quiet and cost. Excellent seating. Simply loved it. Booking of tickets was also very easy on sncf.com. Will recommend for fast and peaceful travels.

The TGV trains are fine but be very wary of the customer service, and above all, do not rely upon their punctuality. After our connection from Paris to Barcelona was cancelled, we really had to struggle to get transferred the next train instead of being put on a bus from Perpignan. But this was a minor upset compared to the... More

Excellent. Study fare choice sites before you hit ok as you can get the same seat much cheaper on some sites versus others. The tgv is below terminal two. We went first class and those coaches are double decker. You can store your luggage up or down. There also is a bar car. Seats are really nice, train is super... More

Very fast and comforteble way to travel relativly large distances in a short time. The direct TGV between BE and Lyon (and further to Marseille) circumvents Paris, saving lots of transfer time. The journey took only 3,5 hours (no check in, luggage waiting etc which you endure with airtravel) making a short weekend trip of two nights to Lyon from... More

Having been left stranded by EasyJet cancelling the Gatwick flight on December 30th 2016 we had to take 3 trains from Berlin to St Pancras. The best by far was the TGV, the one train I have always wanted to travel on and I was not disappointed. This is the most comfortable train I have been on and the speed... More

If you have never used, 1 Be there on time, it waits for no-one 2 Check you wagon number and boarding point, the numbers 1 to 18 fit to an A to Z system on the sidewalk and the train does stop at the right place. The wagon numbers are marked on the side of the doors. 3 Get on... More
