Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the more decorated bridges over the Seine, notable for the ornate pilars at either end. This carries a lot of traffice between the banks, so be prepared for a lot of noise. Not pedestrian friendly, but it looks grand.

Location/what is it about: The Pont des Invalides is the lowest bridge over the Seine River in Paris, France near Hôtel des Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. Pont des Invalides may not be as gracefully finished as its neighbour the Pont Alexandre III, but the view of the Eiffel Tower is better. Good photo opportunities.

Admission fee (budget range): Free to visit.

It is difficult to designate this bridge as a must-visit as Paris has many beautiful bridges. A walk next to the Seine River and admiring the bridges (on or next to the water) is, in our opinion, a must-do in Paris in general.

We will revisit this place. We never tire of strolling along the Seine River.

This is one of the grander bridges over the Seine. It links the big park at Invalides on the Left Bank with the Champs Elysees area. Best seen from a boat on the river.

Definitely my favorite one along with Pont Neuf. Great view and unique decorative elements. It is a nice walk alongside the river, especially at sunset.

This is one of the most decorative bridges over the River Seine, with some great views, either side of the bridge.

Pont des Invalides is a bridge with some interesting stories to tell. It was first constructed in the early 1800s (on the very spot where Pont Alexandre III is located), but construction problems meant it had to be rebuilt and finally that was done further down the river from its original spot. The views from this bridge are really great and you get a lovely view of the Alexandre III bridge.

We were walking along the river side to get to Tuileries from the Eiffel Tower. The bridge was interesting because of the crests carved onto the side of the bridge. They were on both sides. It was night time but there were lights specifically to light up these carvings. It is one of the interesting bridges on the Siene.

Crossing the Seine on our hop on hop off bus we saw plenty of bridges, this one is quite decorative and made of stone with several arch spans.

The name of this bridge would suggest it is the structure that links Hotel Invalides with the grand palais, the fact is it did, it was actually moved to its current position, so the grand Pont Alexandre III could take its place.

The Pont des Invalides isn't the one leading directly to Invalides museum as one may suppose by its name. Instead, it's the Alexander III bridge, the most elegant one which is right next to this one.
The Invalides bridge is rather an ordinary arched stone Paris bridge you see many alike.
For photo enthusiasts like me, I'd point out its another feature: it's a great viewing and photo op: on one side one can catch the Alexander III bridge while opposite there're magnificent Eiffel views with Seine river.
