Stumbled across Pont au Change (though I didn't know it at the time) after coming off the metro on Cite. It's a small bridge that leads you back to the right bank of Paris but it provides a pretty view of the Seine on either side. It's near Saint Chapelle, Conciergerie and Palais de Justice.

Nice historical bridge constructed ~1860 by Napoleon III. It connects the right bank to the Ile de la Cite. There are good views up and down the Seine. Up the Seine you can see Pont Notre Dame while down the Seine there is a nice view of Pont Neuf. The name of the bridge came about as there used to... More

As far back as the 12th century, money changers and goldsmiths set up shop on the crossing. Hence the name. This crossing has seen many rebuilds. The current bridge, constructed in 1858, connects the 1st and 4th arrondissement. This arch style bridge bears the insignia of Napoleon III.

There are some great views to be had from this bridge. the latest bridge was constructed during Napoleon III reign and bears his isignia. This bridge connect the Ile de la Cite and Palcae of Justice, the right Bank at Place du Chatelet. This bridge was also featured in Les Miserables.

The view was amazing -- it was just after a storm so the clouds were deep and light was shining through. We went because of javert idk it was also a good bridge.

The Pont au Change is a very traditional style Parisian architecture and a lovely little bridge to take in. The views that can be seen from this bridge are also a great talking point with some fantastic photo opportunities around blue hour. Get a better view of the bridges architecture on a cruise of the Seine!

Great views of the river! The scenery is just perfect and epitomizes the Paris cliché. I would recommend it to go in the end of the day as you can see the sun go down and you get the a picturesque scene.

This little bridge is actually well placed! It's the one that links the Place du Chatelet to the Ile de la Cité. The architecture is really Parisian. Enjoy the view of the river and both sides of the city ;)

This bridge is in the middle of historical spaces. As such, visitors will cross it by foot, by bus or taxis, or pass below it by Bateau Mouches. But in itself, it is not specially attractive.

My wife and I made our first visit to Paris this past November. There were a bunch of major attractions that we wanted to be sure to visit. There were also a number of lesser attractions that we were aware of and some we didn't know about. Pont au Change is one of the latter attractions. We walked over the... More
