Impressive, Stately call it what you like Hotel De Ville is so exquisite in it's fine architecture that it just oozes with charm - like many of the buildings in Paris.

WHile not the oldest part of Paris, the Hotel de Ville is like so much of Paris, beautiful architecture in a vast open square. The Seine is next to it and the Metro stop is here. If time allows, take it in.

This is a lovely exhibition and worth queuing for. Beautiful dresses and shoes from 1896. It was very busy while we were there but still easy to view everything. And it is free!

The architecture of Hotel de Ville was amazing. I just wish I could have also seen it at nighttime. I would also check if there is an exhibition taking place, which would allow you to see the inside of the building as well.
