Ordered for €13, payed with a €50 and got €30 back from a waiter who suddenly became incapable of speaking English (which he managed fine earlier!).

Caveau de la Huchette in rue de la Huchette. I’ve been coming here for some twenty years. It is a very popular jazz club in the cellars of the building. At weekends now, it is too packed to dance. Some people have absolutely no manners...More

We came here for a memorable Saturday night - great jazz, wine, and atmosphere in terrific surroundings. The club is openly trading on its recent La La Land feature, which is perhaps slightly overdone. It's such a great venue in its own right that it...More

Great jazz! The bands are great and there’s room for couples to dance. Music downstairs, bar is upstairs. Love the venue but know that it gets packed downstairs quick.

I had visited here 11 years ago and recall how I felt like I had been transported back 70 years in France. At that time there were local people in local dress, great music and dance too. Apart from the fact that most everyone there...More

So. Let me start by saying that the barman was super creepy to my girlfriend despite the minimum courtesy you should have when someone orders you an 11€ pint of Heineken. Asked him how many people usually show up on Mondays he answered something along...More

When I was there the main act finished around 1:30 and they closed up by 2 or 2:30. This was a Tuesday I think, though.

First in, best dressed. Always packed but worth it. I have found it easier to get a table upstairs when band is playing downstairs. But it is not guaranteed.
