I saw an amazing saxophone player at the New Morning. The acts that play here are top grade and you really get your money's worth. Arrive a half hour early to make sure to get a good seat.

My boyfriend and I went to see Ruthie Foster play at New Morning, and it was definitely a great experince! Great music, good vibes. No air conditioning :-( Ruthie Foster was singing and she was wonderful, and funny and her music was moving.

Paris and New York are the two great centers for Jazz. Every time I come to Paris, I check to see what's happening at this venue, and plan to attend a performance (or two). This time it was to a concert in support of Nepal. I left with memories of excellent performances, and a whole new list of talented musicians... More

We came here to see Dave Holland Prism as their London date coincided with a family birthday party. Rowed seating and creaky floors, especially noticeable during Holland's bass solos. When we arrived (20:00) there was a queue so get there early to get a good seat (it's rowed seating). There is a bar next door that sells Belgian beer in... More
