We had a great experience with Liza. She is so lovely and know every corner in Saint Germain. Breads, cheeses, Jamon, croissant, confeitures, foigras, patisseries, everything that is part of French culture and cuisine. I do recommend.

I booked this tour for my husband and I to try while on our Honeymoon. I primarily picked it because the other tours I found do not taste along the way and I know my husband would want to try stuff as we go. We got to the meeting spot and met Lisa, and since there was no one else... More

My wife and I read about Flavors of Paris online and booked a tour. Lisa was fantastic before, during, and after the tour. She called us to help find the best date for our scheduled, was prompt and considerate, showed us incredible food shops and stores we would never have found otherwise, and responded to messages promptly for follow up.... I used to travel to Paris for a decade before I moved to the City of Light about 2 years ago. Personally, I am very familiar with the neighborhood stores and cafes but Lisa surprised me with a variety of food boutiques offering unique delicacies. Lisa is very charming and an amicable guide who creates an excellent atmosphere from the... More

Lisa guided us to some of the best spots in St. Germain - every one of them unique and delicious! She has a great knowledge of food, wine, and history and loves to share the best Paris has to offer. Definitely enjoyed and would recommend the tour.

The tour provided us with a very good variety of shops with local, French food and products that we were able to sample. It was unique from other food tours in that it focussed on a bit more variety and on shops that we would not likely have wandered into on our own. We have been to Paris several times... More

I went on the "Original" tour with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Given the sheer number of food boutiques in and around Paris, it is so pleasant to be guided through a select few by someone who is in-the-know, Lisa has done her research. Just make sure you save room for the lovely cheese plate.

I signed up for this tour at the last minute. In retrospect I should have done it the day I arrived in Paris. The tour was excellent. Very comprehensive, covering a wide selection of flavours and shops in the St Germain area. Lisa was very knowledgeable about the products and the area, which made for an interesting and educational few... More

I had the pleasure of attending this event with a group of 8 other people. Lisa was particularly friendly and knowledgeable about all the places we visited. The anecdotes she shared, and her genuine interest for the path she had designed for us made the walk and the event really enjoyable. In the various venues we visited, we could try... More

So glad we choose to do our food tour in Paris with Lisa in St. Germain. We did a food tour in Rome and wanted a similar experience. Actually our experience with Lisa was quite different as this turned out to be a more personal tour. She is very knowledgeable of the area, and gave us a good history lesson.... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
