My Wife and I ended up being the only two people on the tour. Lisa arrived on time and was fantastic guide. She was very informative starting off with some history of the area and then off to our first stop, We tried many wonderful items during the tour, Breads, Olive oils, salts, pate, jams, cheeses, wine, chocolate, macaroons, vinegars,... Lisa was great, she was very accommodating to my 11 year old son who has Celiac disease, and made sure he had gluten free treats to try. A wonderful way to try lots and lots of things we could have never tried otherwise. Was able to get a lot of treats for gifts to bring back to the States. Loved... More

Lisa gives a wonderfully personal tour through some of the back streets of Saint Germain which are such a delight! You get to visit some really specialty providers as well as taste some amazing food along the way. And ending at the market is such a treat also. Be sure to have room in your suit case to bring home... More

Lisa was very nice. She takes up to 8 on a tour. We were scheduled to have 3 and a couple cancelled at the last minute. Instead of keeping their money, like she could have done, she rebooked a few days later. So, just the 2 of us went on the tour. The tastings were good. Great hot chocolate at... More

We had a great experience with Liza. She is so lovely and know every corner in Saint Germain. Breads, cheeses, Jamon, croissant, confeitures, foigras, patisseries, everything that is part of French culture and cuisine. I do recommend.

I booked this tour for my husband and I to try while on our Honeymoon. I primarily picked it because the other tours I found do not taste along the way and I know my husband would want to try stuff as we go. We got to the meeting spot and met Lisa, and since there was no one else... More

My wife and I read about Flavors of Paris online and booked a tour. Lisa was fantastic before, during, and after the tour. She called us to help find the best date for our scheduled, was prompt and considerate, showed us incredible food shops and stores we would never have found otherwise, and responded to messages promptly for follow up.... I used to travel to Paris for a decade before I moved to the City of Light about 2 years ago. Personally, I am very familiar with the neighborhood stores and cafes but Lisa surprised me with a variety of food boutiques offering unique delicacies. Lisa is very charming and an amicable guide who creates an excellent atmosphere from the... More

Lisa guided us to some of the best spots in St. Germain - every one of them unique and delicious! She has a great knowledge of food, wine, and history and loves to share the best Paris has to offer. Definitely enjoyed and would recommend the tour.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
