Great Jazz bar

Went to a concert with my mom. The ambience was really nice. The service was okay. However, you want to listen some music. For that, it's awesome!!

What a place, what an atmosphere?! Live jazz with Steve Williams and his friends and then after that jazz 'jamming' until I had to go at 3.00am!!! Great food too - what a great experience !

Excellent small hall with great Jazz music. For sure to be visited again and again. The only disadvantage - they serve (a very nice plate) that you are supposed to finish while the artists play, sitting just 1 meter below their noses. I understand that time is short (there is a second show to start within short time), but still... More

We checked out concert venues, agreed on jazz, found the Duc des Lombards and booked 2 seats online. We queued up early and managed to get a seat just next to the stage. It is a small venue where you can look the musicians into the eyes, meet them in the restrooms preparing for the set or watch their fingers... More

Went there with some friends, the pace is warm and cozy, the light is dim. We grabbed a glass of jack each, and listened to some good live jazz performance. Will go there on a regular basis from now on.

This is a lovely place for hearing blues or jazz music. You are around the musicians at some few meters from them. Great environment, warm and cozy. They also offer some food and drinks. Is a basic but reasonable quality. Is obvious the every one is there for the music. We saw Lucky Peterson, and incredible blues player.

If you are looking just for a great Jazz, ok! You are in the right place. Otherwise, dont expect more. This place is music oriented and having fun is not more than this. I was expecting to have a good time. It just last 1hr, dueing the musicians action, after that I was, not gently, "asked" to pay.... and leave!

A small jazz-club close to Les Halles and the Louvren. Really good atmosphere and you are very close to the scene, almost on it. Exellente service and good wine. If there are two shows take the late one as it is longer when they dont have to clear the club for the second show. Book in advance. If no queue... More

Nice jazz club with enthusiastic patrons. Really accommodating staff, nice people and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices for drinks. All in all lots of fun and authentic jazz.

Great place to see and hear jazz music when in Paris. Small place but they have a little balcony upstairs as well. We pre-bought tickets through our hotel but wasn't really necessary as they make you line up outside with all the people who don't have tickets. Festival seating inside.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
