I am so glad I booked this tour. Having no prior knowledge of Ricki Stevenson's Black Paris Tours, I found it via an Internet search. The website was very easy to navigate and provided all the information I needed to book the tour of my choice. I decided to do the full day and I'm glad I did; those who... More

Ms. Stevenson's staff was GREAT...attentive, open to inquiries, knowledgeable, flexible, and punctual. The welcome package provided good information on navigating the city for first time visitors. I would highly recommend this tour company. You will not regret the experience. My time in Paris was limited unfortunately, but this tour made the trip a treasure.

This tour is wonderful, Miguel was our guide and the day went so quickly, I was sad when it ended. He was knowledgeable, fun, engaging and made sure we got a a great lesson in black history. This was the highlight of my solo adventure in Paris, made me proud to be a black man.

I highly recommend this tour. Nawo was our tour guide. She was very knowledge and a joy to be around. A lot of information was shared in a very engaging manner. We learned a lot. We ate very well at an African restaurant.

I highly recommend this tour. Nawo, our guide was lovely and so knowledgeable. I gained a whole new perspective on Afro-Parisian history. Also, I am glad I included the trip to Little Africa. That Senegalese meal was one of my favorites in Paris.

Ricki's tour provides a comprehensive view of Paris with a lens on the influence of African Americans . She spends the first hour teaching us about the culture and layout of the city. During the walking tour, Ricki points out the influence of the African Blacksmiths that is heavily prevalent in the majority of the iron work in the city.... More

On Oct. 28, 2016 I took this tour. It was so informative and eye-opening. So many things we know nothing about and not taught in the USA, even during February. Too much to absorb in one tour. Would love to go back again and stay awhile and do the tour again and explore. Ricki Stevenson is so knowledgeable. Loved the... More

Did the tour today with both Ricki and Miguel! It was so enriching and informative. I learned so much about the African and African American influences in Paris. Also learned a great deal about the general layout of the city and customs to become more integrated into the culture. Ricki is a wealth of information. She is very confident and... More

This was the most informative tour that I have ever taken. The knowledge of Black Paris was astounding. I have learned more from her in one day than I did in all of my history lessons in school. I didn't know what to expect of a Black Paris tour. But this tour was nothing I expected. The lessons learned about... More

This trip was the most enlightening walk through African history. I took the tour28 October 2016. Absolutely amazing from the time Ricki introduced herself, and until we hugged goodbye I felt a connection with my history. When Ricki speaks about each historical event you can feel it in your soul as her eyes light up when talking about Josephine Baker,... More
