Either it has, or I have or both. When I went in the 70's it was all about the look of the building shocking garish and brash. Now the colors are faded and the design is familiar. The windows are unsurprisingly still hard to keep...More

This is a great place to visit. The building is so quirky and the views from the top are great. Some of the art is amazing and some I would not enjoy at all but it's definitely worth having a look. Get a museum pass...More

Not our first visit and won't be the last. We love this centre and if you love modern art you won't be disappointed.

This is a terribly unattractive building featuring modern art. The outside courtyard is wide open and offers no place to sit and enjoy the area. Mostly there were young people lying on the hard courtyard. The collection is huge, if you're interested in modern art....More

I don't have to repeat everything already known about the structure but there are several floors to discover. At the moment there is a special exhibition about Parisian antique - or old photo art which is amazing and several - a lot more than anticipated...More

Sited between the Marais and Le Halles, the Pompidou public space attracts musicians and other performers while the art inside is stellar and the view from the top, unbeatable.

The 'art' was certainly aimed at a niche market - and not to our taste at all. The cafe was expensive. We paid an extra 3 euro for a spectacular viewing area but found nowhere special - we just travelled to the top of the...More

Loved the sculptures at the museum of modern art. Apart from those on permanent display, there was an exhibition on celebrating the sculptor Etienne-Martin when i went which was small but fantastic.

Our hotel was about 50 meters from the back of this museum, so we felt its presence constantly. We also rode up the escalators (3 euro) for the spectacular view. Love it or hate it, you can't ignore this in-your-face building. The nearby Stravinsky fountain...More

As an art history major, I've always been boggled by modern art. I love it but I can never fully comprehend it. Unlike its predecessors. So, I wasn't really sure what to expectn at Pompidou. But I loved it. It goes through each movement fairly...More

Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris,
Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but

international restaurants coupled with beautiful

I was wondering if there's an audio guide for the Magritte exhibit. (I assume there is an audio guide for the rest of the museum?) Thanks.

We last visited in December 2010 and loved the diversity of the art being shown. What can we expect to see when we visit again late March 2017?

We bought online tickets and plan to visit in the evening on a Thursday in late December. If we arrive between 7 and 8pm, do you expect the lines will be shorter? Thanks for your insight!
