This is a nice food market with all kinds of different stands - fruit, meat, sea food, cheese, etc. Nice place to start an early Sunday morning (when most of the city is still sleeping...)

Bastille Market is more marketed for locals as there was a lot of fresh produce, meat and bread. We were hoping to get some good market food but found there wasn't too much food to eat on the spot. My husband and I shared a chicken and mustard roll and we were hoping to have it hot as it was... More

We visited with a chef to select the produce and seafood we would cook with for our class. Visiting with a local is wonderful -- we learned quite a bit! All produce signs must tell where each item was grown -- that's interesting to check out where things are from by itself! Fresh, seasonal produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, even pastas... More

My wife and I were in Paris for 12 days and we attended 3 markets while we were there. There was a large selection of reasonably priced cheese, bread, vegetables (I've never seen so many different kinds of olives) fruit, wine, textiles, leather, and much more. It's a great place to buy a picnic lunch while soaking up the local... More

The market runs along Bvd Richard Lenoir and can be found near the site of the old fortress/ prison of Bastille. The area is famous for the 1830 revolution. The whole area is exciting with many small markets and the owners calling out for your business. Many trinkets and genuine antiques can be found here and you can spend hours just... More

Lots of things to browse through and eat. Has lots of fresh vegetables and seafood stalls. Plenty of prepared food stalls, cheese stands and wine sellers. Got a bottle of local white wine from the owner of a vineyard for just 4.5 Euro. Plenty of souvenir shopping options as well. Can get a little crowded later on in the morning.

This is the best market in Paris. Fun to see all the foods available even if you aren't able to buy and cook them. This market has lots to interest tourists. A wide variety of stalls. Clothing and souvenirs. If you are looking to buy those little Eiffel Tower key chains they are 6 for 1 Euro there which is... More

Coming from Los Angeles, we have tons of farmer's markets. This one has to top them all. However, it was jammed pack. Food was good and fresh. Oysters were awesome!
