Open daily from 10:30 à 19:30, the tea counters, surounded by the "walls of tea " made of more than 600 "tea merchant " large and high layered tins, enclose rare and fine treasures. In addition to the greatest flushes arriving from 30 tea producer countries, you can find there, Mariage Frères' famous blends. The choice, probably the largest in the world, still grows richer with new discoveries for the tea connoisseurs, exemplifying the strength of a French Art of Tea that Mariage Frères represents and succesfully exports in the whole world.Ancient furniture and massive oak counters display many collections of teapots of all styles, shapes and origins, all the paraphernalia, from the tea-services to the tea caddy-spoons, filters, tins, tea gift sets, incenses, tea scented candles. Not forgetting, of course, the gourmand delights created by Mariage Frères: tea-jellies, tea-sablés (shortbreads), Chocolats des Mandarins® which recipes were already in our tea house last century.

Went browsing as we waited for appointment at nearby perfume studio. Thomas, the store salesman, provided such great service, we were compelled to buy tea. He was fun and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the offerings. Note, the shop is located at 37 rue bourg de Tribourg, across from the restaurant at 30 rue bourg de Tribourg,

If you are a tea lover, this is the place to visit. You can select from roughly 100 different teas which you can either buy or try in the restaurant. For every kind of tea there is a taster box to smell. In the upper floor they have a small museum with various pots, cups and memorabilia. I was told... More

the store is really beautiful, inviting our eyes to butterfly from one tea pot to the next one. the service is very slow. that could be a nice and exotic tea experience for tourists. for tea experience we might go to other tea stores next time.

Serious tea shop in the Marais -- it was so hushed and still inside we found ourselves whispering. The salespeople were a little intimidating at first but they were actually quite helpful. We had planned to get tea as gifts from this shop, but ended getting some for ourselves too.

Nice tea shop in Le Marais. Vast selection to choose from. Furthermore there is a quirky little tea museum on the second floor. Tea room has a nice selection of pastries and great tea, but is terribly overpriced in my opinion. I'd skip that if I were you.

I only went here because I had time to kill and I had a cousin back in the states who was saying this is the place where she'd go to kill time in Paris. So in getting her some tea, I found this spot and was so impressed. The tea I brought back for myself is amazing (Eros) and I... More

We visited Mariage Freres in Rue Cler which I think is not opened long ( we don't remember it being there in August). We visited not knowing what they sold and were surprised to find a stylish and calssy shop selling tea! Worth a visit.

So i visited a while ago, but what a magnificent experience!! The staff were top class and the environment incredibly inviting. One feels time lapsed into a bygone era, being entertained with delicate tea time delights and wonderfully fragrant teas! Save up and go, enjoy the spoils and take some tea home💚💜💙☕️

I spent all morning in the shop to smell the fragrance of variety of tea leaves. It took awhile to pick a few as all are uniquely blended and offer wonderful odor. The ambient is elegant but homey. The service is superb.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
