Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Huge Eglise Saint-Augistin was built in the second half of the 19th century and it was as one of rare sights in Paris which didn’t impress me at all: gloomy, dark, bulky, depressing,… worse than the Basilica Sacre Coeur, which I never liked and still don’t.

A pretty church from the second quarter of the 19th century. No fee for entry. Not at all crowded. A nice peaceful interlude in a busy day.

This church is beautiful, in a city of beautiful churches. If you're in the area, do not miss it. The place is lovely and if you like architecture, you'll enjoy it even more

This is a very odd church in a wealthy neighborhood. Odd because it is jammed into a tiny piece of land that was left from the building of Haussmann's boulevards and because the church was considered as a landmark that the boulevards should be pointed to for perspective. The result of urban design.

This is a beautiful church with an impressive façade.
The church looks great both in the day and at night, although the area felt less nice after dark due to the immense presence of homeless people around the church.

Located in the 8th arr, stands this prominent catholic church, built in the late 1800's during the Haussmann reconstruction, it was designed ti add to the vista, we think it has achieved that.

Attended Christmas Eve mass. Absolutely beautiful church service. Even though the service was in French and we couldn’t understand much of what was being said, the experience was unforgettable.

Happy that churches in Paris unlike some in London dont charge people.
Attended the 11am mass. It is in French. But I attended anyway.
The church is beautiful.
Very close to St. Augustin and Madeleine stations.

Please use this church for sunday morning mass on your trip to Paris.
Stay blessed.

We walked by this Catholic Church many times a day during our staying in Paris as we can see a part of the church from our room with its view, it’s a small hotel but very convenient for short walk to Gare Saint Lazare and everywhere in this 8th Arrondissement. We love the statue of Joan of Arc and Saint Augustin Church
