The theatre is easily found at the end of a short alleyway just off of Le Centre Pompidou. After entering the front door and descending a set of stairs, you find the all-stone lobby. The theatre itself is very intimate: maybe 40 seats? All stone walls, arches and vaulted ceilings. The performance of "Le Fantome de Canterville" (The Canterville Ghost)... More

I had gone here to see a play. The theater is small but very nice. It was a good experience. It is very close to pompidou museum.

we booked online for Hymne A Piaf , it was a great evening, we are not big fans of Piaf, but the show, with the theatrical story of her life, in ENGLISH, made it a great choice for night out. Too bad Caroline Nin, mentioned it is the last show after 3 years....

We bought tickets online for the Hymne A Piaf show and found out upon arrival that it had been canceled. The lady checking tickets only spoke French, but with the help of another show goer we were able to get our ticket purchase price refunded and even decided to buy tickets for the substitute artist's performance. Isa Fleur's show was... More

Not only great renditions of Piaf songs, but dramatic vignettes of key periods in Edith Piafs life from age 5 till her death at only 47. Caroline Nin does a great performance and brought it all to life.

My wife, two adult children and myself attended this show on Friday July 29, 2015. What a facility and a great evening. It was very special to be in such an intimate enviroment. The theatre is slightly musty and damp which detracted slightly from my enjoyment. Caroline Nin was superb. I am a devoted Edith Piaf fan and Caroline did... More

We attended a performance by Caroline Nin honoring Edith Piaf. It was wonderful. Songs in French, narration in English. The theater is tucked away on a street near Hotel de Ville. The venue would seat maybe 60. Intimate, lined in stone. Staff was friendly. Restroom immaculate.

Caroline Nin and her team are a first rate act that should not be missed! I saw the show twice this summer and look forward to going again with other friends in December. Our teenage daughter and her friend loved it as well. Its a must see for all the expats living in Paris that have not had an introduction... More

Caroline has been performing this role for several years but it feels as fresh as if she had only just begun. It is a sympathetic but not sentimental tour of Piaf's life, with songs that but illuminate and are illuminated by the biographical details. Caroline resists the temptation of being just a tribute act and is not afraid of performing... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
