Cool place pretty close to all the bigger English taverns in the same street. It was the first time we went there for some drinks. Its a cozy place, with OK service and pretty well decorated. Shame its a bit thin because if its crowded it makes it difficult to pass trough the whole time. The only thing I didnt... More

My friend and I used this bar pre-rugby to watch an English football game on my phone, sitting at the bar drinking using their wi-fi. The guy serving in a trilby was very friendly and played some great older tunes while we enjoyed our match. We knew before we left that we'd come back in the evening and at about... More

We stumbled across this bar whilst in Paris for the France v England rugby match. On Saturday afternoon the long narrow bar was very quiet, but played some good old fashioned music from jazz to classic pop songs from a bygone era. But the staff are very friendly and we decided to call in a little later in the evening... More

The bar staff recommended "le Nutella Sour"- such a delicious cocktail that tastes just like Nutella. We ordered 4! Also the best mojito I have ever had. Great staff, chilled out vibe and quirky deco. We sat at the bar for 3-4 hours chatting and enjoying the music. (Tip no 1: do not request the bar staff to play Justin... More

All I needed more was one more person, definitely worth a visit if you're still young.. Music + drinks + servings (they take shots with you) crowd is mostly the people who come here on regular basis... My first visit will come next as well..

Great place to share a simple beer or to get wasted. Whether you come as a couple or with your entire team, the welcome will be the same : awesome !

If you are a twenty something hipster, you might have fun. If you're late 30's plus you probably will not find much appeal. Regardless of who you are, it doesn't warrant a number one spot in trip advisor. Overall, it's not worth a special trip to visit.

Spent 2 evenings here in July (2014), first night got utterly wasted courtesy of the owners matching us shot for shot!, 2nd night i was barely hanging on but still the owners were matching us on the shots again. The food ( snacks ) were good, the atmosphere fantastic & the owners great fun. They arranged ( a great price... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
